The frightened city

I saw this old British movie on Netflix. See more at IMDB. Some nice scenery from around London in the early sixties. Also some lousy fights – very unrealistic hitting each other – I guess they could not afford some proper stunt-men or something, or the censorship did not want it to be least bit realistic. The story was about some crime-syndicates that wanted to split the market between and how that panned out. Also there were some terrible translation to Danish – e.g. the sign saying New Scotland Yard was translated to the Danish equivalent of New Scotland (ship)-yard!

Une journée bien remplie (Danish: en god dags arbejde)

I saw this French movie on Netflix. Mainly because it was directed by Jean-Louis Trintignant. It was marked as comedy on Rotten Tomatoes, and I guess it was a comedy of sorts, but it was very dark – with all the people dying in it. See more at Rotten Tomatoes. There were nobody known in the movie, except for Mr. Trintignant who had a small part in directing Hamlet in a scene within the movie.

Bamse

I saw this movie about a well-known Danish popsinger and has family background. I saw it in the local cinema, Bibliografen.
