I saw this on Filmstriben, the movie service by the Danish libraries. I’m not much into boxing movies, so that is why I never bothered to see it. I heard a Leonard Maltin podcast, where they talked to Cathy Moriarty, who played Vickie in the movie, so because I decided to see it at last.
I have to say that the boxing sequences look somewhat ridiculous – just as unconvincing as the the fight scenes from Rocky f.ex. I mean who fights with his hands down and no defence, but just taking in punch after punch.
